Vietnam’s pangasius market has experienced rising raw material prices in recent months, as growing export demand coincides with limited supplies of harvest-ready fish.
According to SeafoodSource, raw pangasius prices in Vinh Long reached VND 34,000–35,000/kg in early October, nearly 20% higher than in early August. Meanwhile, fingerling prices rose by more than 20% from early September, while stocking challenges and extended growing periods to meet China's demand for larger fish have added further pressure on supply.

SeafoodSource forecasts that raw material availability may improve from mid-November, although prices are expected to remain elevated through December amid strong year-end and pre-Lunar New Year demand.
Amid these market fluctuations, GODACO's own ASC-certified farming operations within its vertically integrated chain provide a competitive advantage in raw material sourcing, quality control, and traceability from the farming stage. Close coordination between farming and processing operations also allows GODACO to better plan production, meet product specifications, and manage delivery schedules for international customers.
